Enter the 2013 Boston vs Bullies 30 Day Challenge
The Challenge Begins January 9 and ends February 5, 2013
Contest Requirements
After viewing www.bostonvsbullies.org, contestants may submit a poster, video (up to 2 minutes) or song that address 2 of the following categories:
*What is bullying?
*What is cyberbullying?
*How can you prevent bullying?
*What is the best way to respond to bullying?
*The definition of power and how it is used in good ways and bad ways
*The role of body language in bullying
*The bully, the bullied, and the bystander: How can they help stop bullying?
Entries are due by February 8, 2013
Prizes
- Winning prizes include Bruins, Celtics, Patriots, Red Sox and Revolution jerseys
- The school or BCYF site with the most participation will win a pizza party for the kids who entered the Challenge
- Winnings will be notified by phone or e-mail and will be acknowledge at Boston R.O.C.K. It!!! on February 20, 2013
Judging Criteria
A judging committee will select the winning entries from eligible submissions. Entries will be judged on three equally weighted criteria: originality, artistic merit and effective use of the Boston vs Bullies. 1 winning poster and 1 winning video or song per grade will be chosen.
Contest Rules and Information
- All participants must be a resident of Boston, and in Grades 4-8 (open to all public, private, charter and home schools).
- Entries are due by February 8, 2013
- Submissions that include any copyrighted licensed or trademarked character, images or names will not be accepted.
- Team entries (up to 5) may be submitted. Teams must enter under the oldest members’ grade level.
- Limit one entry per eligible student.
- All submissions must be original and the students own work. (All entries are subject to verification.)
- Poster entries must be submitted on paper no larger than 17” X 25” and should not be folded, mounted, framed or laminated.
- Poster submission must include that student’s full name, grade, and contact information on the back of the artwork on case the poster gets separated from the official entry form.
- Photography or computer generated artwork may not exceed 10MB.
- Videos and songs must be less than 2 minutes.

Posters, discs and flash drives may be turned into:

Entries are due by February 8, 2013
All video or songs or digital images can be turned in on a disc or flash drive in an envelope with the entrant’s contact information and entry form included to the above locations.
